About Us
In 1957, Dr. George Szekely and his wife moved to Lansdale, PA and opened Szekely Chiropractic Center at 608 Main Street. As the practice grew, so did Dr. Szekely’s reputation for high-quality care, and he soon became a prominent and trusted figure in the Lansdale community. His brother, also a certified chiropractor, later joined the practice, and in 1973, Szekely Chiropractic Center moved to its current location at 704 Broad Street.
In 2001, a second generation of Szekelys continued the tradition as Dr. G. Andrew Szekely joined his father and uncle at the family practice. Today, Andrew is leading Szekely Chiropractic Center into the future, continuing to provide the community with compassionate, honest care and excellence in chiropractic service.
About Dr. G. Andrew Szekely
Andrew was born in Lansdale in 1970. After attending Germantown Academy in Ft. Washington , PA and Lynchburg College in Lynchburg , VA , Dr. Szekely received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2001. He continues to further his education each year through specialized chiropractic seminars and workshops. He and his wife, Szilvia, have two daughters, Anna and Emma, and a Black Labrador named Dude.
Dr. Szekely’s Community Involvement
Since returning to Lansdale in 2001, Dr. G. Andrew Szekely has been an active and upstanding member of the Lansdale community. As part of the North Penn Rotary, Dr. Szekely has held the positions of Youth Awards Chairman, Invocation Chairman and Incoming Program Co-Chairman, each requiring him to lead by example and speak about the importance of service to the local and global communities.
Dr. Szekely has also played a major role with the North Penn Symphony Orchestra, serving as a general board member since 2001 and President of the Board from 2004 to 2006. Under his leadership, the Orchestra expanded its reach throughout Lansdale Borough and the surrounding communities, educating children and adults alike about music, arts and culture.
As a result of this outstanding dedication to his hometown, Dr. Andrew Szekely served as Mayor of Lansdale Borough from 2008 to 2017
Ellen Weasner
Ellen is our office manager and she predates, Dr. Andy, as she has worked at Szekely Chiropractic Center since 2000 when she worked with Dr. Andy’s father, Dr. George, and his uncle, Dr. Thomas.
Ali McKee
Ali is our administrative assistant and she has been with us since 2006.
